Krimml
Krimml is a romantic and traditional mountain village in the middle of a wonderful ski area - Zillertalarena und Wildkogel Arena.
It is situated in the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern and is in the proximity of the world famous Krimml Waterfalls - the highest in Europe!
It is an excellent starting point for many excursions and numerous walks and hikes among the breathtakingly beautiful nature.
In winter Krimml offers you such pleasures as skiing, snowboarding, walking, ice skating, riding and tobogganing.
There is a free ski bus stop in the centre as well as a Spar supermarket and bakery, bank, shops, bars, restaurants and a disco/dancing venue.
All year round Krimml offers the perfect location for a relaxing and unforgettable holiday. In winter it offers everything from horse-drawn carriage rides to the Krimml waterfalls to fantastic toboggan rides and skiing. In summer it offers the best walking, hiking and cycling trails you could hope for.
Travel further afield by bus or local train to explore the picturesque Pinzgau Valley and visit the nearby villages of Neukirchen, Bramberg and Hollersbach where you can get cable cars to the mountain top to enjoy some excellent mountain walking and perhaps stop off at one of the stubes or mountain restaurants for light refreshments or a hot meal and enjoy the most spectacular mountain views.

How to get to Krimml
If travelling by air: it is best to fly to Salzburg airport. Then get an 02 Bus to Salzburg main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) and then take a train to Zell-am-See. From there travel with the Postbus 670 or with the local train (Pinzgauer-lokalbahn - platform 11) to Krimml.

By car from Munich: Travel toll-free via the A12 from Munich to the Kufstein Süd (direction St. Johann - Kitzbühel - Pass Thurn) exit and then via the B165 to Krimml.
By car from Zell am See Take the B168 from Zell am See to Mittersill. There turn right at the market square onto the B165 road which will lead to Krimml. Google map
